Some of you might remember my post on my previous blog on this subject, which addressed this subject an a twisted way. Yesterday I was thinking of the same subject, but in another way.I remember when I started in July with only a few bloggers around. My start was on the edgy side, discussing topics such as space, parallel dimensions, time travel and so forth. It gave my blog a unique character. I was also known to be the negative blogger, going around, leaving comments such as the famous "I do not understand this post!", remember that? Those days were interesting in the sense that I began to reconnect with others through another medium, even though I got on your nerves.
Now after hmm 8 months (used my fingers) I think the blog-o-sphere is not the same. The number of blogs have increased, yet the quality of the blogs have not. I think some of the original bloggers would agree on this point. Some have faded, some are on their way to fading, some are consistent and some have improved with time. How do I define quality? quality consists of the design, the subject matter, the blogger's personality and the updating frequency of that blog. Of course I am more prone to frequent blogs am interested in, even though I might not comment on all posts.
For me, blogging continues to be therapeutic, even though many have no idea what I am posting about or my purpose for posting, but everything has a meaning for me and if it is understood or not by others,it is not important, it is my post afterall.
What have I learned from being a member of your blog-o-sphere? lots really. I cannot complain much about the bloggers I have encountered so far as they have been friendly and curtious and I feel at ease commenting where I want on what I want and say the things I want without worrying.
That being said, I still keep my policy of not commenting on political or religious posts because (read this ya Q so you can feel better and sleep finally)my views on the subjects are personal and I do not share those views with anyone, even people who know me in real life. I do have my own opinions on the matters, local or global, and I have no fear of discussing them, but they form part of my own purg-o-sphere, and therefore, that sphere is my own sanctuary and I have never let anyone get into it completely and I doubt if anyone will ever get to it, as UZF drew for the bloggers series, I am a wall, and a very thick one.
The picture sent by one of you describes it best: It is only me in this life and It will end up as only me, everything else is decoration, that fades with time. Hence, if you believe you know me, think again, because you do not. I am not saying am evil, nor saying that I am sweet, you can feel or believe what you would like, but I can assure you I am neither.
I hope to keep on blogging, writing posts the way I like, commenting the way I see best and I hope that you enjoy my company in this sphere as much as I have enjoyed yours.
Thank you everyone
