It is becoming worst than Nokia, models coming each few months.
To make matters worst, this have affected Audi also.
Compared to other European automakers, such as Mercedes and Volvo, BMW has more reported field problems in Europe itself, telling you how different the company is from the before.
hence, if its crap in Europe, how do you expect it to be any good in Kuwait.

As I said on Mark's post, which started all this discussion, the best engines now adays with good technology are built by Renault/Nissan.
They have good sales on a global basis, and their track record is well proven.
A simple indication for any car owner are results from F-1 races. In those races, the new technologies and future are tested, and you can tell from the performance of the cars what kind of vehicle performance is expected in exterme conditions, such as high torque, altitudes, stop and go traffic, etc.
Renault has been performing well since last year, and its not only related to the drivers, but also to the design of the engine. If you compare that to BMW,even with their advanced Techtronic gear box, they fail because there are still lots to improve in the engine, in particular response to extreme conditions in the piston area (intake valve, and combustion chamber).
I speak of things I have seen and tested with my own hands, hence these are not fictious information

Do not judge the outside looks of a car, that is not related to the engine when I speak of problems am talking about internal aspects, the outside looks is another issue.
