I just finished reading the cult classic The Dice Man by George Cockcroft. I must admit that when I first bought the book I had no idea on its content, nor of the feeling you get after reading it. The link shows further information on the book and also on things and people inspired by the book.The book talks about the life of Luke Rhinehart and how his life and others changed when he discovered the Die life. The people who will like this book are those who enjoyed reading a book (or watching the movie) written by the following authors:

* Chuck Palahniuk (fight club)
* Hunter S. Thompson (fear and loathing in Las Vegas)
* J. D. Salinger (The catcher in the rye)

I loved the book, it is a hefty 500 plus pages, but you can read it in two days (maybe less). You will experience the changes in his life and the characters he meets, such lovely characters. It has many elements that are connected to the 70's life style and the changes of that time, not much politics though, but lots of analysis of human behavior. Trust me it is not boring.

I have chosen the following bloggers to read the book (assuming they have not read it before) and tell me what they think (thought) about it. You can get the book at Amazon or other online bookstores (not sure if they sell it in Kuwait, but you can give it a shot).

Anyone else who wants to read it can do so, but the above four will understand the book better judging by their blogs and the contents (and because I know they have a small part in their brain that functions and thinks the same thoughts I do on some issues).
