I have been duck tagged!

* Number of books: about 40 (but if I counted books I have had since I was a kid that I got rid of during 20 years or so it would come close to 500+)

* Last book I read: The Dice man, see post earlier this week.

* Five books that mean alot in no particular order:

1) The Dice Man, one of those books that gets to you

2) The Alchemist, well known and read it in 2 hours, very nice story.

3) Short stories by Dostoevsky, I love him and he has lots of nice stories in that such as the idiot and the double.

4) A history of narrative film, my first book on film history and aesthetics, made me understand more how films are made and the background from the early 20th century onwards, and opened my mind to world cinema.

5)There was this book on the psychology of man I read 10 years ago or so, but I do not remember its name :)
* Reading that I have not finished yet: lots, but the one that comes to my mind is A terrible beauty, which talks about the 20th century, 700 plus pages and I am only half way and stopped, maybe I would continue one day with this book

* Book I am reading now: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, just in the mood for some Gonzo.

see also Swair and Jackie, but the whole idea is you write on books following the example, number of books, last book you read, five books that mean alot to you, reading you have not finished, book you are reading, then you tag some people.

The Alchemist is a joy to read, I would also recommend; "The Pilgramage" by Paulo Coelho (same author), I have a review on that for whoever is interested on

OK, since we have one tagged person who is not interested in doing it, I would like to ask Ayya to do it, especially since she reads lots of books, mostly on how to twist your tongue and seek enlightment, but why not, might be interesting :)

Last book I read: Shift, by Carlos Ghosn (CEO of Nissan and Renault)

Five books:
- The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe by C.S.Lewis, the first book I read and it blew me away!

- Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury

- 1984, by George Orwell

- A Short History of Nearly Everything, by Bill Bryson

- ??? ?????? by ?. ???? ??????? not bcz its a good story, but for personal reasons

Readings that I have not finished: waaaay too many!

Book Im reading now: The Godfather by Mario Puzo, and I literally cant put it down! Im taking it with me everywhere!
