One of the things any Dell user would tell you is that Dell systems never come problem free. There are always some issue you have to fix to get the best out of your pc. The reason is that many times Dell puts things together without fully testing all products, and a small glitch occurs either due to hardware or software issues that can mess your computer. However, one of the nice things about Dell is their community forum. For any problem small or big, you can bet you will find an answer there.Yesterday I got my laptop back again from the service, so I am back in business. However, because of the changes and because I had downloaded new drivers before submitting for the repairs, I have to do adjustments to settings. This time its the appearance of fonts, web pages, and other things on a 1768x1050 screen, which requires fooling around before getting to the settings that is best for you.
I remember my first Inspiron, I had problems with freezing, but again through their web site I managed to fix it, after several trials, and learnt many things from it. This is beauty of laptops or pcs, you learn by trying to fix things, even if it creates a mess, you learn. The major lesson of course is back-up, always have back-ups on CD's on online so that you never lose all data.
Would I buy another Dell? most likely not, but for the time being, I will be Dell-ing as usual.
