Kiss the Chef

Thursday event highlights:

Menu:


- Lamb shoulder with oregano, garlic and peppers

- Dijon mustard chicken pasta

- Chicken fried rice

- Potato salad with green apple, walnuts and eggs

- Dessert (date cake, kanafa, fruit salad, ice cream)


Overheard:


- "Noooo it will stop, keep it moving"

- "this is the tip jaaar!" - made a decent amount.

- "I like your boots!"

- "He said it was easy, la la la la la"

- "Angel Guzman"


- guy 1:" if you break up, make sure you take your cds."

guy 2:" which cds? I did not leave anything with him."

guy 1:" no, I mean do not leave anything behind."

guy 2:" but I do not remember giving him any cds."


- "why do you keep touching my socks?"


Slept like a log, just put my head, next thing I know its 9 a.m.

I second Rampurple's notion about Purg being a great cook! The food was great, the crowd was azazing and the "Knowing You, Knowing Me" game was fun!

Oh, and there were so many "you are dead to me!" quotes flying around last night!

Another thing was the "Orgasmic" dessert!

Geo, it did not turn out the way it should be, but if you liked it, then you would like it the way it should be.

Basically it is chicken, grilled, pasta done normally, then mix of sour cream and dijon mustard added at end together with everything. You can add other things such as pepppers, mushroom, onions, garlic, etc to the chicken, and then you should get pasta ala purg.

To ensure you get smooth creamy paste make, add some sort of liquid, lemon juice is my choice (did not add it this time)
