When I buy shampoo, the first thing I do is to open the bottle, smell and close. I do not know why I do that, but I guess the smell of a shampoo influences me when buying such products, even though it might have nothing to do with how good it works.
Yesterday my friend said its not allowed, and I said, says who, and forced him to do that. Not sure if that was a life changing experience for him, but maybe it was. Then again when you get a shampoo that is sold at 10 KD at one of the big salons in Salmiya at 3 KD in a normal shampoo store, you should not only smell, but sniff it completely, like you sniff glue on a nice spring day, such as today.

You have to always sniff! Otherwise your shampoo may be all stinky and that would be a waste of 3/10KD

I don't sniff shampoo becuase it always smells different when you use it. I always sniff shower gel though, usually smells nicer when you use it compared to when you sniff it.

and i alwways do that (taking a sniff of shampoo, not glue) and it's totally okay :p lazem a nice scent to start the day when taking a shower (shower gel) too..

I sniff shampoo, shower gel, even the food I purchase from outside before using it or eating the food for that matter. It's just something, and even when at home and there is a new thing I also sniff it, something about it satisfying my sniffing senses that allows it to be acceptable in my books :r

The best things to sniff as a kid were the nasal Vicks and Magic Markers. Yum!

Besides shampoo I always smell fabric softener as well as dishwashing liquid, shower gel, and sometimes even spritz a bit of deodorant and smell that too :o) Although I only dare to do the latter in Kuwait. Everywhere else they look at you nasty...:o)

first of all, really kuwait has a shampoo store, SHAMPOO STORE, like u go in and there's only shampoo products, i never knew ;P, if there is such a market called the shampoo store or somethin like it, then their slogan should be "Purgatory he's the man! if he doesnt sniff approve it then dont buy the can.":r
well let me tell u jaqui is thee sniffer, i occasional sniff, only things that heighten my senses and i am disgusted when i sniff some shampoo or product that smells disgusting and i hate books that smell like dust, it kills you seriously. everytime you turn the page the smell is back again, dusty and eeww.:P
