I was trying to sleep last night when I started to wonder, ..., How did Newman lose all that weight?
We all remember Newman, or Wayne Knight, from Seinfeld and 3rd Rock from the Sun, but if you notice some newer sitcoms or movies, you see a thinner Newman, so what happened?? This stayed in my head all day until I woke up and researched it and found out he had surgery to reduce his weight after advice from his Dr.

Another question that I just remembered from two nights, or was it three, I am not sure anymore, but the question is, Why do we call a fight involving women fighting over a man a cat fight? What is the connection between cats and women? I see cat fights between cats but that involves something else of course, but women and cats, I do not see the reasoning behind that.
Ok time for chocolate cake.

I think he stopped getting parts because of his weight loss. I mean, he was almost always cast as the sly and skeevy character i.e. Jurassic Park and of course, Seinfeld.
And I think they're called cat fights because being catty is like being...kinda spiteful and b!tchy. This makes me think of what the masculine form of a "cat fight" is. Dog fight? Redundant fight?

i think it has something to do with the fact that cat fights (both the feline and human variety) involve scratching, screaming and spitting....

In your blog, you stated that [Newman] lost the weight by surgery, but in the Wikipedia article it stated that he was into a regime of diet and exercise. Hm. 117 pounds is a lot. That's like losing a whole person. Or losing BOTH Olsen twins. I am quite startled by Star Jone's weight loss. Now SHE looks really outta proportion. I thought she was prettier when she was larger.

And Dogs symbolize Men. Example: "The truth about cats and dogs" The movie.
Cats are petite(compared to dogs), clean, danty, and picky, and love to be pampered - Like (stereotypical) women.
Dogs drool, hump things, and are "rough", dirty, and like to play alot - Like (stereotypical) men
Or something like that. I have no basis for any of this. Just a bit of creative guessing.

Well, I find it difficult to relate men to cats :S .. and about dogs, well theres only one feature that can not be applied on men (FAITHFULNESS). It would be nicer if u added a before and after photos of Newman.
