I was talking to someone yesterday and she mentioned she would like to trade back a year of her life to go back in time and change things. For example, we are now in 2006, lets say you gave someone else a year of your life in exchange for going back in time to a certain moment to change things (see diagram).
While this idea might seem good, I see many problems.
1) If you go back in time and change things, there is a possibility that you can extend your life or die younger. A small change can lead to bigger changes.
2) If the Red Person gets a year from the Yellow Person, Can he/she use it to trade for more time from someone else? What would be the limit for time trading?
3) The possibility of too much trading leading to ending up with immediate death, or banishment into the stone ages.
4) Crossing paths and maybe a clash and death of both Red and Yellow Person. Hmmm, Jump! Jump!
I am too sleepy to think of more, but you get the idea, so what is your opinion?
While thinking enjoy this.
