It's amazing it caused such an uproar, considering the multiple news sources available to everyone now. I had no idea Belgium was so vulnerable. It's a beautiful country.
Intlxpatr, I was telling people today over Edo this is typical Belgium. For example the Netherlands is a very organised country, so when you drive down from there to Belgium, its all smooth and clear, once you enter Belgium you know it quickly by road conditions, type of cars and also the exits. In Belgium the Exit signs are most of the time after the Exit itself, so if you do not know your way, you will always get lost. Therefore, having a 30 minutes delay before they announced it was fictional is nothing new for Belgium
