I just finished watching a documentary shot in tabloid style called Cocaine Cowboys. It documents the story of Cocaine in Miami from the early 70s and how it affected the development of the city, the culture, and the people. The movie has a musical score by Jan Hammer (Miami Vice) and is brilliantly done and keeps you interested till the end. While you watch it, you would get flash backs to movies such as Blow and Donnie Brasco and even Scarface. You will also discover about the Godmother of the Cocaine industry (I do not think any movie has been made about her), and also other very shady yet very interesting characters.
For me the movie was an eye opener, especially since I was a kid during that period, but for people who were older and also studied in the U.S. during that period and in Miami, the movie might be very close to home.
Speaking of Blow, the movie by Johnny Depp from 2001, did you know about this site and also this is from Wiki (if you want to check it, go ahead).
"His daughter, Kristina Sunshine Jung, was portrayed in the movie Blow by Emma Roberts (and briefly by Jaime King) and now lives in California with her spouse and children. In the spring of 2002, a year after the film was made, she eventually visited him and said "[she] was sorry for not coming sooner". Kristina Jung was filmed for another role in Blow, but the scenes were not in the final film."
So to conclude on the original post, I highly recommend that you watch it. The Torrent Quality is very good.
