This is the latest dating rage in Italy. According to news, thousands of Italians are members of the SHYNO movement. The movement involves t-shirts and mobile phones. The idea is that via the SHYNO website, you register and get t-shirts with your handle. If someone sees you with the shirt on the street and finds you attractive, that person would then send a message via the website, which is then sent via sms to the person with the handle/nick on the shirt.
For our Italian friends, a.k.a. Jackie, this is the website SHYNO.
For Tata, you should have done this, instead of your F-Camels shirts!
