Tonight we were invited to have dinner at Maze's Place. His mom has been in town for the past few weeks, and we did not say no to a home cooked meal. We arrived early (Stallion and myself), as usual, and sat in the waiting room, which turned out later to be the living room. Anyways, while we waited people came in and I saw platters and dishes slowly filling the table.
Then the bell rang and it was time to eat, so since I was located very close to table (by chance, of course), I went and took some of the starters. I enjoyed the meat pieces most, and salads. Stallion missed his Homous, and he made an official complaint to Maze, which I hope will be taken seriously and handled with the usual, umm.. , who am I kidding, he works for the worst bank in Kuwait, I withrdrew my money from his bank, if you remember, so I do not expect Stallion's complaint to be handled at all, I bet it is in the trashcan, and... umm, food, yeah food, ok.. go next paragraph.
This is the next paragraph, after I finished my first dish, I went and took some of the cooked stuff, and enjoyed the rice and chicken with special Mizmiz family sauce most. I did not try the fish since it was touched by Jazz Central first. Meat was also there, but since the fish was next to the meat, you get the idea, you are smart people, you read my posts, I hope.
After we finished, we wanted to watch tv, with some not wanting to miss the Hayfa appearance on Starac, so tv was brought back to the waiting room. Also, some people were loud, and Maze got a short call complaining about the noise, so he tried to calm them down, but they can't be quiet because of the Armenian disorder sydnrome (i.e. I am Armenian, I like to be LOUD, I like to shout and say odd stuff like khatabatako and schurm bardmuni). I was also "tricked" into having the cake instead of home made ma3mool, which I was lucky to taste just as we were leaving, and then his mom offered me to take some, and I did not say no, because as we all know, home made is always better, so I took better in a box and ran out quick before the 300 Armenian soldiers followed me.
Overall, I enjoyed the food and the ambiance, I would go there again.
