Well seems others have joined the petition and I got further information from our good friend in Spain. He posted it as a comment but I will post it as a seperate post.
---------------------------------
Hello, I’m Otro anónimo again. First of all, thanks to Purgatory for posting our manifesto, to Brava Valentia (for the good wishes), to Abdulaziz (for the link and also the good wishes; we’ve tried some things at http: // www. goalzz. com) and all those who post here and have signed the manifesto. After about six days we’ve got more than 7000 signatures coming from all over the world. Our initiative has drawn the attention of some media (Radio Marca, COPE, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nemzeti Sport, Punto Radio, etc.), although we initially didn’t seek that kind of publicity; we have also been able to create a shift toward our positions of the majority of madridistas, here in Spain. We think this has been something nearly miraculous, because we had a very limited access to the media (as we are plain people, mostly university students and young workers). Finally, the decision about Capello will be taken on Thursday.
We don’t know whether Capello will stay, but we consider all we’ve done to this moment has been a success. We’ve tried all kinds of methods to make people know about this campaign. But there has been one which has proved enormously successful. In a lot of countries there are big webs dedicated to Real Madrid with a great number of users (in Poland, for example, I think there were about 60000-90000). We’ve sent e-mails to the administrators asking them to post the manifesto or a summary or something; as soon as they had posted something about the manifesto, the increase in signatures was spectacular (we’ve been able to use this strategy in Poland and Hungary: www.realmadrid.pl and www.madridista.hu).
There are some places which would be good targets to repeat this strategy: Russia, Japan, China and the Arab world. We’ve tried to repeat it with all these targets, but in this case we haven’t been so successful; sometimes because it seems nearly impossible to contact anyone in that country (China) and, more in general, because it results very difficult for us to orientate ourselves in the websites (we don’t understand their languages and it is more difficult to use Internet translators because those languages are not written using the alphabet) or because our e-mails are not answered (of course, we don’t know why). So, to this moment, we’ve had to go house by house in those countries and regions. Anyway, we’ve managed to find three sites which we think have great potential: www. realmadridclub. net, http: // hi4arab. com/ real/ index. php and http: // www. madridi. com.
Now it’s the turn of the last request (I promise). If any of the members of this web’s community has enough time and energies to do so, it would be great if he/she could translate the letter we use to send to administrators and the manifesto (you can find the manifesto at http: // www. gopetition. com/ online/ 12876. html or in a previous post in this blog) into Arabic. Once you had translated both, you could send it to the administrators of the three Arabic webs and to us (so that we could post it in http: // fansdelmadrid. blogspot. com, alongside the English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, Hungarian and Polish versions). If for any reason (time, work, etc.) you can’t translate it, could you simply try to contact the administrators of the aforementioned webs to send them the English versions of the letter and the manifesto? It would be an enormous favour, as we have tried to contact them and we haven’t received any answer. If you couldn’t do any of the previous things or if the administrators couldn’t answer you, would you be so kind to start a topic in their forums with the English manifesto (or, if you happened to translate it, the new Arabic version)?
Of course, we understand that you may have many other things to do, but we’ll leave this message here, just in case there is someone willing to help us this last time. Anyway, whatever you do, we’ll always be grateful for what you’ve already done (Purgatory, Brava Valentia, Abdulaziz, etc.).
Bye!
PS: Purgatory, please forgive my reiterated invasion of the blog (I promise it’s the last time I leave this kind of texts).

Letter we use to send to administrators:
Hello. I’ve sent you this e-mail as a representative of a group of Real Madrid fans from Spain. As you may know, Real Madrid, with Fabio Capello as their coach, have won the Spanish championship, la Liga, this week. This trophy has ended a 4 year period during which Real failed to win any major trophy. However, far from being hailed as a hero, Fabio Capello is on the verge of being sacked. Fabio Capello is one of the most laureate coaches of the world, having won 9 national championships (both in Italy and Spain) and one European championship (in Italy). To have an idea of the magnitude of this achievements we could say that FC Barcelona, for example, a football club with more than a hundred years of existence, have only been able to win 18 national championships and two European championships (that is, Barcelona’s palmares only doubles Capello’s).
In order to avoid this sacking, we have used our blog (http: // fansdelmadrid. blogspot. com/) as a platform to collect signatures. There you can read our manifesto (which is presented in Spanish, English, Italian, French, German, Hungarian, Portuguese and Polish) and you can find a link to the site in which the signatures are collected (http: // www. gopetition. com/ online/ 12876. html). After about six days we’ve got nearly 7000 signatures coming from all over the world. Our initiative has drawn the attention of some media, although we initially didn’t seek that publicity. Now that we’ve got more signatures, we would be very grateful if you could publish our manifesto or a reference to our campaign on your web.
And that is it Folks!
