The place is quiet, only a few people in, which is a positive, I like quiet places. We looked the menu and the choices seemed decent, of interest to me was the Armani pasta (wtf!!). Anyways, we decided to have a Margherita pizza for starters and we all got soup. My mushroom cream soup was decent, although I was hoping to have some green stuff sprinkled on top of it (I think it is usually parsley) and maybe a couple of mushrooms inside. My friend had the minestrone, and he liked it. When the pizza came, we were all amazed at how it looked. I took one taste and I was singing the theme of the GodFather in my mouth. THE PIZZA WAS AMAZING!!
For the first time in years I get a pizza, that had a good crust, little tomato sauce, and excellent cheese. Since it was just made, the cheese was melting on my lips, what a lovely experience. We all liked it.
Next we got our main courses, my Osso Bucco was very well done, and the rice was excellent, which made me wonder how their risotto would taste. One of my friends has the seafood gnocchi and that was excellent, soft pasta and balanced sauce. My other friend had also some seafood pasta dish and he enjoyed it.
Then we decided to get some desserts, we had tiramisu, chocolate mousse cake and some other dessert with fruits and ice-cream plus coffee. The dessert was average, nothing special, so was the coffee.
My overall rating of the place is that is excellent food, especially main courses, while the starters and desserts are average. The Osso Bucco is the most expensive dish on the menu at 8.250 KD, but its worth it, however a few pizzas will be a good choice as well.
I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
Note: not related to post, I keep singing this song, although it is offensive to some.
