The countries of today have been created with time and borders drawing based on ethnic and religious backgrounds and have been redrawn so many times based on colonial power rulers in the previous centuries. However, the world of today is still controlled by the same powers from their own countries, and they spreads their McChicken, and their Pep-Chicken, and their Air-Chicken, all over the world, but they would not publicly go on the record and say that they will buy a country, because they are afraid of how people would think of them and it can ruin their image, but ThePurg does not care, does he?

And then, ThePurg buys this land, improves it and makes it better, just like any wise investor would do when he takes over a company, then buys more land, and more land, until he has a big share of Earth.
I think its a nice idea, buying an island is no longer interesting, but buying a country, with its people and its assets would be.
