I woke up today after 8 hours of good sleep, which made up for lost hours in December. It has been almost a month since I last slept this long at night, and it was good.
Last night we went to Taal for some Indian Food Dinner, which usually I would not do but since it was a long weekend, I said Birdie Num Num and went. We had a good meal of different dishes which make you full at the end, and later went by Starbucks for a late night cap. I was dissapointed they shut down Paul, it was the best place for me there which offered quality drinks and sweets.
Prior to heading to Taal, my friend was texting someone on msn-mobile and decided to take a detour to another location close by to scare that young innocent chick who was innocently drinking her coffee and browsing the net.
Questions that poped in my head last night
- Why do Gulf-ies (people from GCC), come to Kuwait on weekends in their high end vehicles and drink/eat at Starbucks or Chocolate Bar? Reminds me of them in the States when they would drive 24 hours just to meet people.
- Why do people eat very late in Kuwait? Is it some Spanish Bug? If you eat a heavy meal at 11.00, how long would it take to digest the meal and sleep for the next day?

Chirp, I usually have sweets and coffee, and maybe tea, thats what I enjoy, I never ate food at Paul.
Paul has good cheese. I love cheese. I love their cheese platter.
I prefer meeting people for dinner no later than 6 or 7. That way, we can take a few hours to eat and have a nice enjoyable time yakking our heads off doing so.
I know, I am upset about Paul closing in Bidi3 too. The next best thing you might wanna try is Le Pain, but they are not Paul whose nut-raisin breadsticks, caramelized onion rolls and pistachio mini macaroons I daydream about sometimes....
And don't bother trying the food at Paul. It's terrible generally. I had a hammour dish once at the place in Marina. It stunk to high heavens from the izfara. Just awful. The salads aren't great either. Paul is a bread, coffee and sweet place, not a bistro/restaurant (although it wants to be).
