ThePurg is a fashionable Cat, he is always following the latest and observes what people wear. ThePurg does not always understand what goes into the Gay (or could be a woman) fashion designer mind, but the trend in almost everything for the past 15 years is retro. Retro is basically a way of saying that we do not have anymore new ideas, so let us dress like our father or mother, or even our grandfathers (I wonder when we will be naked again), but this shows a lack of thinking and vision.
My new annoying fashion item is the thin necktie, similar to what they dressed like in the 60s. Basically it is an incomplete thong, which is stretched to create the illusion of a tie, and ThePurg certainly does not want to wear a thong around his neck. What is even more annoying is seeing stout, heavy set men, with big bellies wearing this tie, instead of a normal tie that can cover their big belly.

I think a thinner necktie is better looking than those fat diamond shaped tapered ones.
