The two hour comedy talks about Dewey Cox, a Johnny Cash sort of character meshed with other music icon, is a musician seeking to find the meaning of things. The first 35 minutes were nothing special, and I thought it would be another "Knocked-up" fisaco and one of those stupid comedies that many people love (Although Weather Man was lovely), but the latter part of the movie kicks things up and was funny, for me. Maybe because it goes through the ages from the 50s to 90s and only those living in those times can relate to the references and people featured in the movie.
I also enjoyed the songs, especially Walk Hard. SNL graduates, or current stars, complemented the movie, especially the Tim Meadows parts. The film did not do well in US box office, but I think its related to the time of movie release, however I think it should do well in DVD Sales.
Here is the main song from the movie.
