I have been waiting for the new league seasons to start and I was happy to find something to watch to entertain me during this month.

Beach Soccer is a sport with fast movements, and almost every team has a chance to win. It only takes a second or less to score a goal. I have seen many exciting games, spectacular goals and last second goals that would keep you at edge of your seat. There are no underdogs, well except the Solomon Islands, but the rest are more or less evenly matched. The UAE is one the countries representing Asia and will host the 2009 edition.

The old perception that Beach Soccer players are retired 40+ year ex. soccer players is no longer valid, with most teams having young players with high skills. Where else can you watch games with an average of 10 goals per game in a span of 36 minutes (game is split in 3 thirds, 12 mins. each).

I highly recommend you watch it if you want to kill the time until football starts again, it is shown on ART Sports 3 and some matches also on Eurosports. Also, if you are lucky, you can watch girls in bikini during breaks between each third on Eurosports.
