I woke up today after 8 hours of good sleep, which made up for lost hours in December. It has been almost a month since I last slept this long at night, and it was good.
Last night we went to Taal for some Indian Food Dinner, which usually I would not do but since it was a long weekend, I said Birdie Num Num and went. We had a good meal of different dishes which make you full at the end, and later went by Starbucks for a late night cap. I was dissapointed they shut down Paul, it was the best place for me there which offered quality drinks and sweets.
Prior to heading to Taal, my friend was texting someone on msn-mobile and decided to take a detour to another location close by to scare that young innocent chick who was innocently drinking her coffee and browsing the net.
Questions that poped in my head last night
- Why do Gulf-ies (people from GCC), come to Kuwait on weekends in their high end vehicles and drink/eat at Starbucks or Chocolate Bar? Reminds me of them in the States when they would drive 24 hours just to meet people.
- Why do people eat very late in Kuwait? Is it some Spanish Bug? If you eat a heavy meal at 11.00, how long would it take to digest the meal and sleep for the next day?
In other news, I am working with some Local starving artists on designing a new icon picture, if you are starving, or an artist, or local, you can send yours by email. I am also a proud member of the Slave trade on facebook.

I am sure many of you while writing documents or answering messages for work use shortcuts, to simplify long words or common expressions that are known to people who work in a specific field. However, many of us fall in a trap of using internet expressions, which are these days common as proper expressions to some, but still can create confusion.
For example, you include expressions such as brb, bbl, thx, btw, lol, and huh (yes last one is an internet expression for you know who), and your older non-internet saavy fellow worker reads it and gets:
a) confused
b) shocked
c) understands but ignores
d) annoyed
e) laughs secretly that they know what it actually means
My question is, when you do such things, does it make you less professional or is it accepted these days that many of the Generation X (and the one after it, do not know what they call them) just express themselves in such manner?

I just finished downloading the first episode of season 2 of Heroes and was watching TV when I saw the ad for Dubai TV website during Ramadan only for all their channels and I started to think, what happens to website when they are no longer in use?
Many of us have domains, websites that we do not use anymore. Sometimes we keep the name but never use it, and sometimes we just have a website that stays the same for years without any modifications, just parked and dusty in the roads of the Internet. Therefore, are we contributing to the end of our planet by leaving so many websites without use?
If we decided to create a junkyard for unused websites, would it affect our internet ecosystem? Or should we create a retirement place where all those websites can live their lives happily among friends?
