"The introduction of in-flight internet across most of American Airlines domestic fleet last month has opened a proverbial can of worms the Airline, porn surfing. Since the introduction, a flood of complaints have surfaced from both passengers and flight attendants complaining that some passengers are using the US$12.95 in-flight internet service to surf for porn, while in-flight.
In response to the in-flight porn issue; The US Association of Professional Flight Attendants has requested the airline install internet filtering software to block any inappropriate websites. American Airlines have since stated a preference toward an unfiltered internet experience such as what someone would have at their home of office, with the onus being on flight attendants to monitor and take appropriate action if any passenger was caught surfing porn. "
I highlighted interesting words for your reading and imagination pleasure.

Euro 2008 is now done, so I can start writing again. I have had many ideas cross my mind during the usual times of napping, eating, before sleeping and during other activities, but I did not feel like writing, but now I am. This might be a long post, or it might not be, we shall just see how it goes, I do not feel like splitting the contents into different posts.
1. My Calculator
I have had the same calculator for the past 13 years. I got it from K-mart for less than $10 and it works just fine. It is a Casio Fx-250D type, I am not even sure they make them these days. Although some people prefer multiple complex calculators (heck I do not know if people know what a calculator is these days), I still prefer this simple calculator to do my complex calculations, for the rest I use my brains, like any old fashioned person does. I bet many of you young people do not even know about log-tables.
2. Edo Pride night
Edo Pride Sunday has been a regular event for me for the past 3 years or so. It started simple, then became a big event, then dwindled down to just a couple of people, and now we are starting again with a semi-new group. Sometimes it feels like Santana, the band, with the number of changes it has had in the past 40 years. (link). These days we are basically myself, The Stallion, his quirky cousin G, and a Latina replacement (the original Latina is smuggling Bangalis somewhere). Regular guests are usual old members such as Nibaq and the Gurls, Josie and the pussycaaaaaaaaaaaaaaats, pussycaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaats!
3. Atheist Among us
In the past few weeks I have read a few blogs of people, not only "U", who "claim" to be atheists, or are atheists. While the normal 20 something young adult is typically confused or brain-washed to either believe or not believe, typically an intelligent person understands the right path eventually, while idiots remain in their belief of non-belief. I once was confused, but I did not atheisize (not sure if this is a word) myself, I just understood my existence better and I am very comfortable with where I am now, a believer. For the atheists cows out-there who insist on being atheists, if you cannot believe there is a God of some sort, then you have cow-dung for brains, for the confused, I had a book once that would make you "logically" relate to "belief" but I cannot find the name in my old papers, but it was very important in shaping my understanding of existence and the essence of Man. "U" will find your way, I am sure. Just a final note on this topic, I saw Dogma (link) again yesterday, still funny.
4. Movies
I also have watched my fair share of movies over the past month. Kung Fu Panda was ok, I started to Watch the Eye (original version) but Damn its scary, 15 minutes and I stopped it. Reminds me of the time I wanted to watch that Japanese horror movie with the two sisters, I could not, kept forwarding and opening one eye. Wristcutters a love story (link) was a good independent movie I enjoyed. It is "A film set in a strange afterlife way station that has been reserved for people who have committed suicide", Purgatory anyone? And since I have my DSL receiver, I also saw Super Bad again, one of the good movies of the past couple of years in that genre, I cannot get enough of Mclovin.
5.Travel
I want to travel but prices are crazy, I cannot see myself pay a fils for those high prices, so I will stay here in the summer, baring any special event where I manage to convince myself to pay the extra 50 fils for my tickets.
6. Midgets
During Edo Sunday the subjects of midgets came up, well actually I brought it up. I had seen a blogger across and I said hi, she had her own Edo Pride Groupie thing, but its all good in the Edo-hood, then I ate, then I ate, then I remembered something when the replacement Latina in the group wanted to give a Sunday Church pass to one of our members who was craving Taco Bell Burri-ghetto, which started the following conversation
Me: So, do you have midgets at base?
Latina : Huh? No - Laughter around
Me: Yeah, why don't you have midgets in the base?
Latina: We just do not.
Me: Does that mean the U.S. military has something against midgets? that is discrimination.
Latina: No.
Me: Yes it is! its because they are suicidal huh!
Latina Confused look
Me: Yeah, midgets are suicidal. That is why they are not allowed in, isn't it?
Latina: I do not know.
Me: Come on! What is better than to sending those midgets to Iraq? I mean they can search for road side bombs, go in places where no one else can go, oh oh! How about an army of midgets? You have a special forces midget unit, led by that guy from Lords of the Rings, Gandalf
--Confused looks all around, though they have seen this side of me before --
Me: How about Black midgets? or Blue, smurfs?
Latina: I do not know!!
Then it moved to something else, but that issue still bugs me, Why don't they have midgets in the Army??
7. Whistling Purg
A post would not be complete without some whistling. Give me Some late night Don Cornelius.
This is the end of the post, I hope you enjoyed it and if you did not, screw you.
This is a funny article from Yahoo about the times we live in now, it starts somewhere, but it usually goes around, and Don't anyone say Jazeera Airlines, they do not do the other things mentioned in the article, soon enough people will just stay home and not travel anymore.
US Airways to charge $2 for soda, juice, water
"Better get used to carrying lots of singles next time you fly. US Airways is now terminating free drink service. No, not free mini bottles of Jim Beam and cheap Chardonnay, we're talking about all drinks, including soda, fruit juice, coffee, and bottled water, which will soon cost $2 each. Presumably tap water, which may or may not be contaminated with fecal coliform bacteria, will still be free.
The move is the latest way airlines are attempting to fight rapidly rising fuel prices in a disastrous economic climate. In recent months, the extra fees have come fast and furious. First came extra charges for your second piece of luggage, then came a charge for your first bag. That's not to mention extra fees for choosing your own seat, curbside check-in, booking using frequent flier miles, and the cost of the Santa Fe chicken sandwich.
The beverage fee is even more annoying than most, since you can no longer bring liquids through security at airports. You are really at the mercy of buying them on the plane, or at least buying them once you're in the terminal (which is doubtlessly no cheaper than on the plane). Alcoholic drinks will also go from $5 to $7. That's a lot for a can of Budweiser.
The fee goes into effect August 18, leaving plenty of time for the airlines to come up with other fees to nickel and dime their way to profitability. Can pay toilets be far behind?"
