Report Shows Wider Range of E-Gov Benefits than Expected

The Office of Citizen Services and Communications has issued a report on the return-on-investment of E-Government programs. The report concluded that E-Gov is more beneficial than expected. The benefits yielded a wider range than originally anticipated. They include, but are not limited to, saving government money, saving taxpayers time, supporting small business, streamlining beurocracies, discouraging corruption and encouraging participation in government.
